Ada Lovelace’s Life

Her father abandoned the family when she was a baby, and her mother raised her in a strict and religious household. Lord Byron soon succumbed to his death when Ada was only 8.

First Ever Computer Programmer- Ada Lovelace

Ada was only 17 years old when she met Charles Babbage, a mathematician and inventor, in 1833. Babbage was then working on a machine called the Analytical Engine, which is considered to be the first programmable computer!

Ada was fascinated by the Analytical Engine, and she began to study its design with Babbage. She also began to write notes about the machine, which would later become known as the “Notes on the Analytical Engine.” In these notes, Ada described how the Analytical Engine could be used to perform a variety of tasks, including mathematical calculations, music composition, and even translation.

Ada Lovelace was the first person to recognize the Analytical Engine’s capabilities beyond being a pure calculator machine.

Ada’s notes are considered to be the first computer programs, and she is often credited with being the first computer programmer. However, she never saw the Analytical Engine completed during her lifetime.

Unfortunately, Ada died of cancer in 1852 at the age of 36. Despite her short life, Ada Lovelace made significant contributions to the field of computer science.
